America - "Lonely People"

Is there a way to blog this without seeming depressed and...well, lonely...for lack of a better word? 
Nope, I'm not complaining, or sitting here being lonely. (I know that it 100% looks like that, so I don't blame you for thinking that, but stop it, because thats not how it is!)


This is for all the lonely people

Really, all I want to know is, what is "the silver cup." I mean, apparently we can't give up until we drink from it...but after I drink from it, then do we give up? Hmmmm. Also, why would a lonely person want to ride "that highway in the sky?" Are there lots of people on the highway so they won't be lonely anymore? 

Anyway, this song came on Pandora, and it caught my eye (ear), and I had to look it up. 

Again, can I please reiterate, I don't feel lonely. I don't feel like love has left me dry. I don't feel like life is passing me by. I DO feel single, but I think thats a good thing. If I felt married, I would be a little worried...


p.s. Can I also say that the man in the middle has very pretty hair?
